Volcano Hekla (1491 m)

Volcano Hekla is one of the most famous and also the most active volcanoes of Iceland.
It is part of 40 km long vulkanického back, which is at least 6 600 years old.
In the Middle Ages it Icelanders called Gate to Hell. Since the first known eruption in 1104 Hekla
