At present, most active Icelandic geyser Strokkur, spouting up to 5 to 20 meters every few minutes.
The neighbourhood is "Big geyser" according to which the natural phenomenon got its name but in the 30
the 20th century, the eruption ceased but recently the action again renewing irregularly.
